Howard Johnson by Wyndham Rock Hill

“My childhood home was here, moved away from Rock Thrill 35y ago and back for a funeral. The Riverview Road area is now well-lit, with visible overnight security presences. Very easy driving connections on Riverview and beyond into the former Celriver ( look for the interesting all-weather exhibits about a former synthetic fiber plant site, near the YMCA branch over there, too.) Also the driving route into the Winthrop campus, just north of the Main street area, itself, along Eden Terrace, is a pleasant, direct alternative to Cherry Road traffic. Besides driving from the motel, there is continuous, curbed sidewalk back to Cherry Park, which then ties into the city-wide sidewalks (that have become much more numerous.) To the north, there is a walkable loop under and over eye77 that's almost fully on walks. At breakfast, there is hot water on tap, and a full variety of self serv breakfast basic breads, mix items (oatmeal & grit packets) and beverages.”

“Have stayed in this area a few times on our trip to Florida. This was one of the best budget hotels I have found. Stayed in a King Bed room. Bed was firm and very comfortable. Staff was excellent!! Seemed clean. Breakfast was standard with a waffle maker which is all I need. If your looking for budget in the area I would stay here for sure!!”

Yatin the front desk clerk is by far the guy that has ever checked me in and he wants every customer to feel well and have the best stay he's alway calm and very cool as well! These beds out of all the hotel motels in it's location are the best and the rooms are taken care at their best way to go Yatin and crew!!!!”

“Excellent service, super accommodating, really friendly. Room is very basic. It’s an older property. Don’t get catfish by the photos. Everything you need is there, though the bed is comfortable the pillows are comfortable, plenty of water, pressure and plenty of hot water reasonably clean even though the linens are old and a little bit thread bare . breakfast was basic. All in all a very good experience, met our needs.”

“We had a pleasure of staying at HoJo in Rock Hill SC for a week. The owner and the staff are super friendly. This is the Best Budget hotels compared to other motels around. The cleaning staff vacuum the rooms n changed sheets and pillows covers every day. They will come n give us new towels n toiletries Kleenex every time we ask for it. Plus location is easily accessible to I-77 no more than 5 minutes n also nearby restaurants. I would recommend to anyone who come to Rock Hill for visit or business.”
